Christmas at Kingfisher

What’s On Activities & Resources Free Online Course

It has been a strange year so far but whatever the next few weeks look like Christmas is not cancelled! As Kingfisher Church we have a number of Christmas events, some of which will in person COVID secure services but everything will also be available online. Further information on what’s on and how to book can be found below. We also have links to various activities and resources for over the Christmas period.

In January we are running a free online course, exploring why the message of Christmas is good news for all people. You can discover more about the course by following our Christianity Explored link.

On the first Christmas God’s light shone into the darkness of this world. Our prayer for you this Christmas time is that you would know the joy and hope of that same light that is found in the Lord Jesus Christ.

WHAT’S ON

Christmas Carols
Sunday 20th December 4pm

New Government guidelines still permit outside congregational carol singing. We are wanting to make the most of this opportunity and invite you to join us for an outdoor carols and lessons service in the grounds of Little Paxton Primary School.

Please note that due to COVID restrictions toilets will not be available at the school.

There are two options for joining our Christmas Carol service on the 20th December.

  • You can join us physically for a COVID secure service at Little Paxton Primary School
  • You can join the service online.

We plan to live stream the carol service via 4G connection. Should this not work we will upload a recording of the service to our YouTube Channel later that evening and share the link below.

For further information on COVID secure services and how to book a space please use the booking link below.

Due to COVID restrictions we are providing digital song sheets for the Carol Service. We recommend using them on a phone or tablet to provide additional lighting but you can also print the carol sheets off if you wish.

  • Please check in on the night – there is a QR code you can scan
  • Face-masks are optional outdoors as long as distancing rules are kept to. We would recommend you wear a face mask to be on the safe side. If you want to sing with it on / or off once you are in your area – That’s up to you.
  • The carol service will last approximately 45mins – there will be a few chairs in each area, but mostly this event will be standing.
  • For those walking, please enter by the main double gates into the playground.
  • For those driving the car park will be open and steward will show you how to get to the event.
